Yukigami Studios
Terms of service
These terms govern yukigami.net, Roblox sign-in, careers and commission submissions, the staff dashboard, and our experiences on Roblox. Effective July 14, 2026.
1. Who we are
Yukigami Studios ("Yukigami", "the studio", "we", "us") is an independent game development studio that builds and operates experiences on the Roblox platform. The studio operates this website at yukigami.net and the Yukigami group on Roblox.
You can reach the studio at tony.e.bolivar@gmail.com. That inbox is read and answered by the founder.
2. Agreement to these terms
These terms of service ("terms") are an agreement between you and Yukigami Studios. They apply when you visit yukigami.net, sign in with your Roblox account, submit a careers application or a commission request, use the staff dashboard, or play one of our experiences on Roblox.
By using any of those services you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the services. If you use the services on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it to these terms.
3. Eligibility
The public pages of this site are open to everyone. Signing in with Roblox, applying to work with the studio, and requesting a commission each require a Roblox account in good standing, which means you must also satisfy Roblox's own age and account requirements.
If the law where you live requires a parent or guardian to consent before you enter agreements like these, you may only use the sign-in and submission features with that consent. The staff dashboard is restricted to people the studio has onboarded as staff.
4. The services
These terms cover the following, together called "the services":
- The public website at yukigami.net, including game pages, the careers page, the commissions page, and the press kit.
- Sign-in with Roblox, which the site uses to identify you when you submit an application or a commission request and when staff access the dashboard.
- The careers and commission intake forms, which file your submission with the studio for review.
- The staff dashboard, an internal tool for onboarded staff covering work boards, tickets, payroll records, and related studio operations.
- Experiences the studio publishes on Roblox, to the extent the studio controls them. Play on Roblox itself is governed first by Roblox's own terms, described below.
5. Signing in with Roblox and linked accounts
Parts of the site require you to sign in through Roblox's OAuth service. When you authorize the sign-in, Roblox shares your Roblox user id, username, and display name with us. We use that information to identify your session, attach your submissions to your Roblox identity, and, for staff, to connect your studio records across platforms. We never see or store your Roblox password.
Staff members may additionally link a Discord account and a GitHub account so the studio can grant the access their role needs on those platforms.
You are responsible for the security of the accounts you sign in with and for activity that happens under your session. If you believe someone else has used your session on this site, tell us at tony.e.bolivar@gmail.com and change your Roblox credentials through Roblox.
6. Careers applications
Submitting an application through the careers page does not create employment, a contractor relationship, or any obligation on the studio to respond, interview, or engage you. Any working relationship that follows an application is agreed separately and in writing.
Everything you state in an application must be true and must be yours to share. Do not submit another person's work as your own, and do not include confidential material belonging to a current or former employer or client.
7. Commission requests
A commission request submitted through this site is an inquiry, not an order and not a contract. Scope, deliverables, pricing, and timelines for any commissioned work are agreed separately between you and the studio before work begins. Until that separate agreement exists, neither side owes the other anything.
The studio may decline any request at its discretion and without explanation.
8. Acceptable use
When using the services, you agree not to:
- Probe, breach, or circumvent authentication or access controls, or access accounts, data, or dashboard areas you are not authorized to access.
- Interfere with the operation of the services, including by flooding the intake forms, scraping at volumes that degrade the site, or introducing malicious code.
- Impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or submit information you know to be false.
- Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or that violates Roblox's Community Standards.
- Use the services to spam, advertise unrelated products, or harvest contact information.
The studio may suspend or block access to the services for anyone who violates this section.
9. Content you submit
You keep ownership of the content you submit through the services, including application text, portfolio links, and commission briefs. By submitting it you grant the studio a non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, and share that content internally for the purpose of evaluating and responding to your submission and, where a working relationship follows, administering it.
You are responsible for having the rights to everything you submit. The studio may remove or delete submissions at any time.
10. Our content and brand
The site, its design, its text, the Yukigami name, the fox mark, and our experiences and their assets belong to Yukigami Studios or its licensors. The press kit on the press page sets out what is cleared for editorial use. Beyond that, do not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property right to you.
11. Our experiences on Roblox
Our games run on Roblox. Your use of the Roblox platform, including accounts, Robux, in-experience purchases, and refunds, is governed by the Roblox Terms of Use and the Roblox Community Standards. Purchases inside our experiences are processed by Roblox, not by the studio, and Roblox's payment and refund rules apply to them.
In-experience items, currencies, and progression have no real-world monetary value, are not redeemable outside the experience, and may be changed or removed as the games evolve. The studio may moderate behavior inside its experiences and its community spaces in line with Roblox's rules and its own.
12. Third-party services
The services link to and interoperate with platforms the studio does not control, including Roblox, Discord, and GitHub. Those platforms have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern your use of them. The studio is not responsible for third-party platforms, their availability, or their handling of your data.
13. Privacy and data
The studio collects only what the services need to work: the Roblox account identifiers shared during sign-in, the content of applications and commission requests you choose to submit, staff records for people the studio has onboarded, and routine operational logs. We do not sell this information and we do not use it for advertising.
Our privacy policy describes this in full, including how long data is kept and how to ask what we hold about you or request deletion.
14. Availability and changes to the services
The studio may add, change, suspend, or retire any part of the services at any time, including game features and site pages, with or without notice. We are a small studio and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
15. Disclaimers
The services are provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the studio disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing on this site is professional, legal, or financial advice.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yukigami Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the services. The studio's total liability for all claims relating to the services is limited to one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid the studio in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
17. Indemnification
If your violation of these terms, your submissions, or your unlawful use of the services causes a third party to bring a claim against the studio, you agree to indemnify the studio against the resulting losses, including reasonable legal fees.
18. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the services at any time. The studio may suspend or terminate your access to any of the services, including staff dashboard access and access to its experiences and community spaces, if you violate these terms, if the law requires it, or if a working relationship with the studio ends. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination, including the content licenses, disclaimers, and liability limits, survive it.
19. Changes to these terms
The studio may revise these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. For material changes we will make the update visible on this site. Continuing to use the services after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
20. General
These terms, together with any separate written agreement you sign with the studio, are the entire agreement between you and Yukigami Studios about the services. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If the studio does not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without the studio's consent.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Yukigami Studios is established, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where the law of your place of residence must apply.
21. Contact
Questions about these terms, the services, or your data go to tony.e.bolivar@gmail.com.
